We’re proud to share that Simon N’Jie, our Managing Director is featured in the latest edition of the Pro Arb magazine. Simon’s feature in the magazine discusses our successful in-house apprenticeship programme, Artemis Academy.
The Artemis Academy was launched in 2019, utilising the vast experience of our own staff to train the next generation of tree surgeons. Formerly the classroom side of the apprenticeship was offered externally via a college, however, “we found we’d more knowledge and experience within our business than any college could offer.”
On completion, our apprentices are fully qualified arborists to Level 2 (Intermediate Diploma in Arboriculture). When asked about the pros of running your own apprenticeship programme, Simon said:
“We can train apprentices to our in-house style and to the high standards we’re known for.”
