Key Aims and Requirements:
This is a fantastic opportunity for either a passionate Arborist, who is looking to take a step up into surveying or an existing surveyor to join the consultancy team. To carry out all types of Arboricultural surveys.
Daily Tasks:
- Carry out all types of Arboricultural surveys
- Use a resistograph for tree decay detection
- Produce tree work quotations based on tree survey recommendations
- Potentially carry out climbing inspections
- Potentially carry out BS5837 surveys
Skills And Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone that’s highly motivated and proactive. Passion for trees and the Arb industry is a must.

Tree Surgeon
Full time Tree Surgeon required to work in a friendly, professional company in West Hyde Rickmansworth.
Monday – Friday 6.30am – 3.30pm
£18,000 to £45,000 /year (depending on experience)

Key Aims and Requirements:
To carry out all aspects of tree work whilst working as part of a team.
Daily Tasks:
- Carry logs and branches and process these through woodchippers.
- Carry out all tree work operations including felling, crown reductions and hedge trimming.
- To liaise with clients and customers as part of a team.
- Continue to learn all aspects of tree work.
- Drive trucks and tow woodchippers.
- Use stump grinders and other machinery.
Skills And Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude along with good levels of fitness. All skill levels will be considered.
Package:
Full PPE provided. Fully paid for on going training including any arb level 3-6 requirements. 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. Regular training days, staff parties/days out.
Estimator
Full time (or part time estimator/part time Arborist combined) required to work in a small, fun, friendly company in Rickmansworth. Company vehicle and fuel card provided.

Key Aims and Requirements:
To provide quotations for tree work, working mainly alone but as part of an overall large team.
Daily Tasks:
- Attend potential sites with or without the client present.
- Assess tree work requested and skills/time needed to carry out work, offering client advice as needed.
- Produce written quotes on in-house software using an iPad.
- Email quotes to clients and answer client queries.
Other Tasks:
- Attend regular office meetings.
- Work out on site as requested to maintain good tree work knowledge.
- Attend training as needed to update/maintain qualifications.
Skills And Experience:
The ideal candidate will have worked as an arborist and have good tree identification knowledge. A clean driving license is essential. The candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent time management, have good client liaison skills, be confident with IT, be well presented and be able to work as part of a team.
Package:
Company vehicle/fuel, iPad provided. Uniform provided. 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. Regular training days, staff away days, company socials, birthday off.
