Artemis Academy is very proud to announce eight of its recent apprenticeship intake have moved up to studying for their Level 2 qualification, the next stage of their training.
The Level 2 certificate in Arboriculture is a theory based, college level qualification which encourages the development of more advanced techniques to build on what they have studied so far. It will take the apprentices a year to complete, spending one day per month in the classroom and the remainder of the time out on-site applying their newly gained knowledge.
Involving a range of units, the Level 2 certificate takes a more in-depth look at tree science and biology covering subjects such as soil types, plant physiology, identifying tree species, principles of tree surgery, tree inspections and laws relating to trees.
Our own Level 6 qualified in-house Consultant will be supporting the apprentices in their learning and a collaborating with Treelife AC Ltd on course content.
The Artemis Academy apprenticeship scheme was established in 2019, to train a new generation of tree surgeons to our own high standards and produce some of the best newly qualified arborists in the business.
