Artemis was called in to fell a large, 28m tall Common Beech tree that had a fungus attacking its roots. The fungus was decaying the underside of the structural roots, making the tree unstable at its base. If the tree had blown over, it could have caused catastrophic damage due to its close proximity to two blocks of flats. The tree was situated on the top of a bank with a block of flats on either side.
A team of 4 of our top men got the work done over the course of two days. The tree had to be dismantled in sections, using a crane to lower the massive sections and remove the huge amount of logs and debris.
