Artemis Tree Services Celebrates 25 Years of Arboricultural Excellence

Artemis Tree Services Ltd is proud to mark its 25th anniversary this year. Founded by Simon N’Jie, the company has grown from humble beginnings to become a trusted and respected name in the tree care industry. With its unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Artemis Tree Services has made a significant impact on preserving and maintaining trees in its region.

Artemis was formed by Simon N’Jie in 1998. Inspired by his love for nature and a desire to create a positive difference, Simon embarked on a journey to establish a company that would provide expert tree care services.

Beginning with just one other employee (who still works for Artemis today), Simon set the foundations of Artemis Tree Services. Armed with knowledge, experience, a deep respect for the environment and a chainsaw, he commenced his mission to deliver outstanding arboricultural solutions.

Since those humble beginnings, Artemis Tree Services has experienced remarkable growth and expansion over the past 25 years under Simon’s leadership. The company’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement has been instrumental in its success and Artemis now employs over 30 people.

Artemis has consistently invested in the training and development of its arborists, ensuring they stay abreast of the latest industry techniques and advancements. This dedication to professional growth has enabled the company to offer a comprehensive range of services, including tree surgery, tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, and arboricultural consultancy.

Since its inception, Artemis has expanded its operations to serve numerous areas across the UK. From its roots in Pinner, the company has extended its reach to include London, the Home Counties, and surrounding regions. Artemis works with residential, commercial, and public sector clients, providing tailored arboricultural solutions to meet each client’s unique needs. Our expertise covers a wide range of tree care requirements, from routine maintenance to large-scale tree management projects.

Our broad skill base means we can deal with pretty much any issues our clients have and we retain customers year on year. One such client, Mrs Midgley of Ruislip, has used Artemis from the early days for a range of issues from the regular trimming of a conifer hedge, to felling a dead tree and crown lifting others. Mrs Midgley says

I found the Artemis team that came to prune Portuguese Laurels back all friendly, professional and made sure that I was satisfied with the job and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.... Charlie, Lewis, Marcin and Luke all worked with great care and diligence and made sure I was happy with the work. Every step of the way I was treated with respect and understanding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have some tree work done. Excellent value for money too. Great companies still do exist and ATS is one of them!

The survey outlined what would be required, advised on any contact for consent from neighbours if required and what the short and long term expectations would be. The team that undertook the extreme pruning of fir trees on the boundary of my property were polite, engaging, professional and made sure I was happy with the end result. Never having had to engage a tree services before I had no idea of pricing and was more than surprised at the value for money. Meticulously clearing up afterwards and removing all debris the same day. Plus points, everything, negative points, none. I would most highly recommend.

From the very first contact right through to the completion of works their whole team were always prompt and on time , professional , knowledgeable and efficient . There was regular communication and reminders leading up to the booked appointment . During the initial survey and appointment everything was explained and my inquisitive questions engaged and answered. They completed the work and cleared up everything . Great service and would definitely use them again .

Artemis took down two lime trees who's roots had damaged the garage floor and were an inch away from the foundations of the house . The trees were in a very awkward place to get to but this didn't see... The team were extremely well equipped , and they worked together like a well oiled machine. We were delighted with their work, tidiness and very pleasant manner. And it was at a fair price.
