Artemis Tree Services Ltd, Rickmansworth based Arboriculture company, has recruited five new apprentices to its apprenticeship scheme.
Artemis Academy was launched in January 2019 with the aim of creating highly trained arborists. The latest 5 apprentices joined the scheme this year in the autumn intake and are already proving themselves to be an asset to the company. Ranging from 18-29 years, the apprentices have come straight from education or have chosen to make a career change.
The apprenticeship scheme is a 2 year course with on-the-job-training running alongside classroom study and is designed to produce fully qualified arborists to Level 2.
Managing Director, Simon N’Jie says
“We are a locally based company and wanted to recruit locally to help support the community. I have high hopes for this most recent intake who are very much up for the challenge and all appear to have what it takes to become great tree surgeons”.
The vocational scheme enables Artemis Tree Services to train apprentices to its in-house style and to high standards that the company is known for.
