Two of Artemis Tree Services’ Directors have come out of the office to go back out on-site.
Simon N’Jie, Managing Director, and Aaron Walsh, Commercial Director, have been refreshing their climbing techniques to ensure they’re up to speed with the latest guidelines.
After spending the last few years building the business and getting initiatives like Artemis Academy off the ground, Artemis is thriving and the directors have decided to get their hands dirty again.
Being out on-site part-time provides fantastic opportunities to ensure apprentices are applying their newly acquired knowledge effectively, that more experienced climbers are keeping their skills up to date and that teams are pulling together to uphold the high quality service levels Artemis is known for.
Simon says “I became an arborist because I loved being outdoors working with trees. It’s great to be back in the harness, doing the kind of work I’m passionate about and sharing my experience and knowledge with our younger employees as they move up through the business.”
Expert trainer Frankie Heggs of Ground Up Training spent time with Aaron and Simon to ensure they’re familiar with new developments in the industry, especially two-rope working techniques.
Artemis Tree Services is 25 years old this year and what a great way for its founder to celebrate the Silver Anniversary.
