We’re thrilled to welcome two enthusiastic new apprentices, Harvey Wilson and Bob Dillon, to the Artemis Academy Training Scheme. Over the next two years, they’ll embark on an intensive journey of hands-on learning and formal training that will see them qualify as fully certified tree surgeons.
Harvey brings discipline and determination to the team, shaped by five years of service in the British Army’s Two Rifles infantry regiment in Northern Ireland. Leaving school at 16, Harvey joined the military with a passion for sport and a goal to gain qualifications and life experience. Now, he’s returning to a long-held ambition to become a tree surgeon. After exploring several options, he chose Artemis for its standout two-year programme. A keen sportsman, Harvey enjoys playing rugby, usually on the wing or at full back, and tennis. Aside from sport he enjoys spending time with his friends. We’re confident his drive and team spirit will be a great asset to the Academy.
Bob takes a more direct path into arboriculture, having discovered a love for tree work after starting in a full-time role with a tree surgery company at just 17. With a background in mechanics from college, Bob is now keen to deepen his knowledge, earn his qualifications, and climb trees. Passionate about football and motocross in his free time, Bob brings energy, and hands-on experience that fits perfectly with the Artemis approach to training and development.
Both Harvey and Bob have already made a good impression in their first few weeks, and we look forward to supporting their growth and watching them thrive as they progress through the Artemis Academy.
