We’re excited to introduce Graham Oakshott, who has joined Artemis as our Equipment and Plant Mechanic.
Graham brings a diverse and skilled background, starting with eight years of service in the Army as a Royal Engineer. During his time in the Army, he gained valuable chainsaw qualifications, sparking his interest in tree surgery.
After leaving the military, he trained in tree care, eventually taking over and running a successful business before selling this to move on to a new challenge.
Graham’s journey took him firstly to farming and then on to Agripower, a company which specialized in drainage and sports pitch construction, where he worked with machinery including dozers, excavators, and dumpers.
Though he enjoyed the work, it didn’t give him a very good work-life balance, which led him to join Artemis. Here he’ll work closely with Andy, our Mechanic, to hone his skills in maintaining chippers, trailers, chainsaws, and other essential equipment.
In his downtime, Graham enjoys camping, caravaning, country walks with his dog, and outdoor activities with his young family. He’s also a fishing enthusiast and loves spending time by the water with friends.
